Cathy Weaver

Cathy is a graduate of Colorado State University (1979) with a Bachelor of Science in Human Development - Early Childhood Education. Cathy grew up in Denver, Colorado and moved to North Platte in 1981 when her husband finished graduate school. Prior to working in the Lincoln/McPherson County Extension office, Cathy owned and operated her own preschool, Creative Kids Learning Center for 7 years in No. Platte. She started in Cooperative Extension as a part-time 4-H Extension Assistant and moved to a full-time position with the merging of McPherson and Lincoln County. Cathy currently co-ordinates the 4-H School Enrichment program in both Lincoln and McPherson Counties. She is also the McPherson County 4-H program assistant as well as assists with 4-H activities in Lincoln County. A new 4-H project that Cathy is very involved in is the GPS - Global Positioning Project, teaching both youth and adults about the use of GPS in today's world.
