Tractor Safety Training

By passing this course, 14 and 15-year-old youth receive a certificate allowing them to drive a tractor for a non-family employer. The certificate is also required for youth desiring to receive a farm husbandry driving permit to drive farm machinery on a public road.

The course consists of 10 hours of classroom training. Participants must also pass a written test and driving tests. Participants should be able to drive a tractor prior to taking the course. Youth younger than 14 may participate in the course but will not be permitted to take the driving tests or receive the certificate.
