4-H Citizenship Washington Focus Program

The citizeship/ leadership experience allows youth independence from their traditional settings to learn self-discipline, responsibility and decision-making. The program creates a safe environment for you to actively participate with peers to form connections. They are able to gain self-confidence by believing and proving they are capable to solve their own problems and meet challenges independently. The CWF program helps youth ages 15 to 19 better understand their rights and responsibilities as active, involved citizens, better understand the structures and functions of local, state, and federal government. They develop a better appreciation of our national heritage and culture and have the opportunity to broaden their perception while meeting with congressional delegates.
